Macy and Aaron’s wedding was simply stunning. We were faced with inclement weather for their wedding at Olde Dobbin Station in Montgomery, Texas, but luckily the venue is ideal for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies. Beauty was not sacrificed when the wedding had to be moved into the Main Building, and the schedule continued seamlessly as we had hoped. Preparation saved the day!
Macy chose blue and gold with blush pink for her wedding color palette. She incorporated height into her centerpieces with tall cylindrical vases and birch branches, partnered with hydrangeas and pine cones to capture the season. Greenery was everywhere. Striking Stems florist did an excellent job adding the blush pink to her arrangements, and Tastefully Yours catering’s assistance with the setups brought the greenery to life. Macy chose to use a long dining table for her bridal party, and round tables for the guests. Gold runners horizontally crossed the long head table instead of running the length of the table, adding a unique touch to the design.
Ana and Ivan Photography did a spectacular job. Instead of seeing the rain as an obstacle, they used the opportunity to capture Macy and Aaron in a different light, quite literally. We cannot get over how the photographers used the stormy sky and reflections of the creek on the property to capture captivating shots of the couple. Please see their work below. They are some of our favorites!
Get Low Entertainment kept the party going well into the night, and the grand exit was worth the wait. We thank all the vendors for the effort put into this beautiful wedding, and are happy to feature all of you on our blog.
